Cavalor Probreed Mix

Cavalor Probreed Mix is a high-protein mix for pregnant and lactating mares and weanlings. This mix supports proper development and balanced growth in foals and keeps mares in good condition.

Contains pre- and probiotics for healthy bowel function. High in minerals and trace elements: Contains calcium, phosphorus and magnesium for bone development and lactation, and copper, zinc and manganese for cartilage and joint development.

HOW TO USE

For good nutrition, your horse needs roughage (spread out over several times a day) and a constant supply of fresh drinking water. This foundation can be supplemented with a balancer or concentrate feed as needed. And fine-tune your horse’s diet with supplements #feedasyouneed

Feeding recommendations for Cavalor ProBreed Mix:
We recommend a minimum of 300 g and maximum 500 g per 100 kg body weight per day. For a 600 kg mare this means a minimum of 1.8 kg and a maximum of 3 kg per day.

We recommend a minimum of 200 g and maximum 300 g per 100 kg body weight per day. For a 300 kg foal this means a minimum of 1.2 kg and a maximum of 1.8 kg per day. For a 600 kg horse this means a minimum of 2.1 kg and a maximum of 3.9 kg per day. Divide the concentrate feed over several portions per day, preferably after feeding roughage.

Tip: not all feed scoops are the same size. Weigh the contents of your feed scoop so that you know exactly how much your horse is getting.

STRONG BONES & FLEXIBLE JOINTS
The skeleton of an unborn foal must be able to develop properly throughout a mare’s pregnancy. Cavalor Nutri-Mobility helps to support good and strong bone development. An optimal calcium/phosphorus/magnesium ratio for good bone growth, supplemented by organically absorbable trace elements – copper, zinc and manganese – ensure good development of the musculoskeletal system, i.e. bones, joints and tendons.

STEADY GROWTH
A good functioning of a mare’s metabolism – to get enough building blocks and energy from the nutrients – is important during pregnancy and lactation, so that the mare stays fit and the foal can grow well. The Cavalor Nutri-Balance concept is a balanced combination of proteins, minerals and vitamins (building blocks) on the one hand and fats and carbohydrates (energy providers). In particular, the digestibility of the nutrients (e.g. puffed and flaked cereals) is essential to prevent uncontrolled growth spurts and/or interruptions in growth.

A good development of the digestive system and in particular the intestinal flora are very important for the health of the foal and its future life. It helps to protect against intestinal problems and pathogens.
